What Is A Reading Room?
 A Reading Room is a great place to find out about spiritual healing. Its purpose is for the sale and display of items produced by the Christian Science Publishing Society. These are books and resource materials to buy or use.

Reading Rooms have the Bible, Bible dictionaries, concordances, and other reference works for Bible study including Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures, by Mary Baker Eddy, the discoverer and founder of Christian Science. Science and Health is the textbook of Christian Science. There are many other writings by Mrs. Eddy as well as books about Christian healing written for all ages. Many writings can also be found on cassette tapes and CDs.

Publishing Society?
 The Christian Science Publishing Society produces a variety of publications that are all available through the Reading Room. You'll find The Christian Science Monitor, an international daily newspaper which is consistently ranked by professional journalists as one of the top ten newspapers in the world. It was founded with the mission "to injure no man, but to bless all mankind." The Monitor, which has won numerous Pulitzer prizes since its inception in 1908, includes one short religious article daily.

The Christian Science Sentinel is a weekly magazine, and The Christian Science Journal is published monthly. Both publications contain articles on how Christian Science can be applied to everyday situations. Each issue of each publication includes verified examples of spiritual healing.

The Herald of Christian Science is published in many different languages and is tailored to the countries where those languages are spoken. The Herald also contains testimonies of spiritual healing.

The Christian Science Quarterly contains the citations for the Weekly Bible Lessons which are studied by Christian Scientists and are the Sunday sermons read at every Christian Science church throughout the world.
