Church Service Format
The services are conducted by members of the Church
who have been elected to be the First Reader and Second Reader.
The Wednesday Meeting
is conducted by the First Reader alone. The readers read the relevant Weekly
Bible Lesson without commentary or discussion. An explanation of the Weekly
Bible
Lesson is below. Each service is one hour in duration. To the right is an
explanation of the Order of Service. Sunday's service includes hymn singing
by the congregation and an inspirational solo.
Weekly Bible Lesson
Each day, people all over the world read or listen
to the Christian Science Weekly Bible
Lesson. This is a lesson that is produced and published by the Christian
Science Publishing Society in Boston, MA. with one theme for the week. More
than any other resource, this will
launch your spiritual journey into high
gear.
There
are
26 Bible
lesson

and
one
is read
daily for the week;
and the topic is used twice each year. With its focus on selected scriptures
